Notes:
This shows a more specific example of differentiated SMBus branches resident within a single system. The EC branch is primarily for the battery management subsystems in mobile platforms. The other branch provides interface to a variety of other SMBus components such as temperature sensors, enclosure control, fan speed control and other necessary power hardware.
